Standing Seam Snap Lock

Snap Lock “Style” Standing seam roofs are available in multiple profiles, each of which touting their own benefits. Our 1” Nail-strip style panel has a built in “roll formed” locking mechanism that secures each panel to the next and an integrated fin with pre- punched holes for applying your fasteners.

Our other variations of Snap Lock style standing seam is a Clip System Snap Lock. These systems do not have an integrated fastening flange and require a clip to lay over the Male rib of the panel to secure it to the roof deck the next panel snaps and locks over top of the clip and the male rib of the panel which will conceal the fasteners.

Mechanical Seam

Integrity Metals Mechanical Seam

Mechanical Seam Roofs are also a Concealed Fastener standing seam installed with a clip. However, these systems require each panel to be seamed to one another using either manual or automated seamers and the legs of this panel can be seamed to 90 Degrees (also known as single lock) or 180 Degrees (also known as double lock) the Degree of the seam is dependent on the amount of uplift requirement determined by your local building municipality. These panels are known for their incredible strength and usually more common on commercial buildings or in higher wind zones.

Mechanical Seam Panels

Mechanical Seam Standing Seam metal roofing systems are designed for rigorous conditions and maximum durability. Installed using a hidden clip system, panels are manually or mechanically seamed together offering greater thermal movement, exceptional wind uplift resistance and better watertight capabilities. Mechanical Seam panels are also used for Curved Radius Metal Panels – one of our specialties.

Seaming options include 90 degree (also known as single lock) or 180 degree (double lock) depending on the roof slope and other engineering considerations, as well as type of exposure to extreme weather conditions.

  • IM100MS – 1″ Mechanical Seam
  • IM150MS – 1-1/2″ Mechanical Seam
  • IM150MS-CRV – 1-1/2″ Curved Radius Mechanical Seam
